Wispr Flow pricing: is it free, and what does Pro cost?
Wispr Flow is free with a weekly limit. Pro costs $15 a user a month, or $12 a user a month billed yearly, and it removes the word limit. The official pricing page lists no promo codes, so this guide doesn't list any.
I build Voz, which competes with Wispr Flow. Prices are as of November 2026, linked to their sources. The pricing page shows two prices for the Growth plan, and it doesn't say which one is current. Check it before you buy.

How far the free plan goes
On Mac and Windows the limit starts at 2,000 words a week. The help center describes what happens after that:
- At 2,000 words, the desktop app shows a warning. New dictations are blocked above 5,000 words.
- On Android, dictation slows after 2,500 words and stops at 3,000.
- On iPhone, dictation slows after 550 words and stops at 750.
- The week resets on a fixed schedule. Unused words don't carry over, and Notetaker meetings don't count toward the limit.
Wispr's pricing page says only "Limited words per week," so the help center is the source for these numbers. It notes that the limits can change without an app update.
Discounts
- Annual billing: 20% off. The pricing page labels the toggle "20% discount."
- Students and educators: 50% off Pro with an education email, according to the FAQ on the pricing page.
- Non-profits: The FAQ says non-profits get "a discounted rate." The amount isn't stated.
- Enterprise: The FAQ mentions "bulk pricing discounts." The amounts aren't stated.
- Trials: The help center lists a 14-day standard trial, 30 days for referrals and 90 days for students. I read these in a summary of the help article, so check them on the help center before you rely on them.
- Promo codes: Not stated on the pricing page or the help center. Codes from other sites aren't from Wispr, so check where they come from before you use one.
What a year costs
Pro is per user. Each seat costs:
| Option | Cost for one person, one year |
|---|---|
| Wispr Flow Pro, billed monthly | $180 |
| Wispr Flow Pro, billed yearly | $144 |
| Superwhisper Pro, billed yearly | $84.99 (source) |
| Superwhisper Pro, one-time lifetime | $249.99 once |
| Voz | $0 |
A team on Pro pays the per-user price for each person.
Free options with no word limit
Voz has no word limit and no account. It runs on your Mac, and it's free and open source under the MIT license.
Superwhisper's free plan allows unlimited dictation with local Whisper models. It's limited to two modes, and those modes can't use AI. The Wispr Flow alternatives guide compares the other options on platforms and privacy. For a closer look at the app itself, read the Wispr Flow review, or Voz vs Wispr Flow for a side-by-side.
